Disvoy Café was design in an existing open space in the village of Vestmanna. The work of ZETA was about, at the same time, creating an atmosphere in the Café but also provident different possibilities of arrangement.

The concept used in the project relies on the Faroese landscape such as bird cliffs and cliff´s cave which the village of Vestmanna is well known for. The atmosphere would inspire itself from the landscape to create an intimate and warm ambience.

The choice of the material aims to create a rough space with warm furniture. The floor and the countertop will be treated with concrete, the coffee tables and chairs will be wooden. The ceiling and walls will be treated with acoustic element, in order to get the best acoustic comfort. Historical Faroese pictures and objects will complement the atmosphere.
