In the open competition for the new residential housing project Oman Matallág in Tórshavn ZETA has won 1. prize for the proposal for a common house for the new area.

The common house will be the heart of the new residential area and focuses on flexibility and multi-functionality providing the residents with a variety of different spaces for common purposes. The layout of the house integrates the different indoor spaces with the surrounding outdoor areas thereby extending the functions of the house out into the area and making the events in the house visible for the residents.

The common house by ZETA will be a part of the new residential project Oman Mattalág and will now be further developed in corporation with the 2 other competition winners who won for the housing units (Ósbjørn Jacobsen) and the masterplan (MAP Arkitektar).
