Today, on the Faroese National Day, Ólavsøka, the Mayor of Tórshavn has proceeded to the inauguration of the new square, Steinatún. The design of Steinatún square and bus stop has infused other change such as the remodeling of the functions in the Municipality building. On the ground floor, opening to the square, we can now find a tourist office, a coffee shop and a pharmacy. Steinatún is becoming a place where people walk to and stop to, instead of just walking by.
