Vágar airport is the only airport in the Faroe Islands. After an extension of the terminal in 2014, answering the increasing activity, the remodeling of the parking area was needed to ensure a better functioning. The project includes 500 new parking places and a pedestrian tunnel linking the parking area to the terminal.
